We will head towards the village of San Salvatore di Sinis, where we will visit the homonymous church below which lie underground chambers, consisting of several spaces which have been partially dug out of the rock over time, these environments were used for various purposes. During the Nuraghic age, a sacred well was dug out for the worship of the waters.
Afterwards, we move to the beautiful beach of Is Arutas, where the sand is made of fine round quartz grains, with shades of colours which alternate between pink, light green and white, making it unique. We will have our lunch here which will be organised by our staff, offering local food and wine.
In the afternoon we will move to the Marine Protected Area of Sinis, until we reach the suggestive archaeological area of City of Tharros which boasts a terrace overlooking the sea. A site which is among the most important in the Mediterranean, which is absorbing for visitors and scholars, as it continues to provide new ideas for analysis and reconstruction of the period Phoenician-Punic.
